The big stop overs in East Africa
East Africa is the most visited part of Africa and is the fastest growing economy center.
It comprises of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, south Sudan and Congo. This economic block has seen it's capital growth in GDP through the tourism sector of the region where it shares its visitors.
1. Kenya
The biggest areas to visit in Kenya is Mombasa beach Which borders the Indian ocean 🪸 there are several historic places to visit such as the fort jesus. What makes this Place unique. You can decide to travel by air or Road to other places such as Masai mara national park and Amboseli.
Mount Kenya is the tallest mountain in Kenya and has a history of freedom rebellion in the country where the national flag of the country was raised high to give it's people freedom from the British colonial government in 1963.
Kenya lies in the Equator hence it receives tropical rain 🌧️ which boosts its agricultural sector and forest cover is natural which is home for most wild animals and traditional forest trees 🌴.
The capital city of Kenya Nairobi has one of the amazing parks known as Nairobi national park where you can see wild animals in one center.
2.Tanzania
Tanzania is the second most visited country in east Africa in tourism it has similar senaries to Kenya such as the beach but what makes it unique is it's cultural practices.
The country has mount Kilimanjaro which is the tallest mountain in the region Located in Tanzania, Mount Kilimanjaro is the African continent's highest peak at 5,895 meters (19,340 feet). Tanzania and Kenya experience the wild beasts Though the migration into Masai Mara typically starts in July and ends late September, the exact dates around this period are not predictable until the first large wildebeest herds actually gather at the northern edge of Serengeti as they near the Mara. This ties the two countries tourism sector.
3. Uganda
Uganda also lies within the Equator and receives natural rain. Kampala is the capital city of the country and it's known by it's unique selling of fresh meat for consumption.
Countries history is built by it's inhuman leader idi Amin who is said to be ruthless in his time of rulership and there is one of the biggest historic life of the leaders that makes tourist here more about him and would like to visit the place.
Just like Kenya and Tanzania Uganda also has wild animals for tourist to visit the good things is their is region free travel where passport is not required to visit the region.
4. Rwanda
Rwanda is 26,338km² and is known by the genocide. Rwandan genocide, also known as the genocide against the Tutsi, occurred between 7 April and 19 July 1994 during the Rwandan Civil War. During this period of around 100 days, members of the Tutsi minority ethnic group, as well as some moderate Hutu and Twa, were killed by armed Hutu militias.
